
About Callie
I am from Maui, Hawai'i and have lived in Paris for 20+ years where I offer my in-person services, Yoga, Pranayama breath work, meditation and massage. These tools have guided me through my own life and have been a powerful force that has led me create Kayr to offer effective pathways to healing and personal development.
With over 20 years of practice in Ashtanga yoga and personal mentorships from influential teachers including Nancy Gilgoff, Kia Naddermier and David Swenson, I've been fortunate to receive an immense perspective into the deep layers of a dedicated practice. Teaching grew from an ongoing apprenticeship with Kia Naddermier, in Paris, who introduced and expanded my path of awakening through Pranayama breath work & mindfulness practices. In 2024 I co-founded Maison Mysore Paris where I teach weekly Ashtanga Mysore classes and Pranayama.
My approach to Ashtanga Yoga is steeped in clear observation, inquiry and exploration to meet each student where they are and to offer them tools for a practice that is honest and holistic.
My work is infused with the Hawaiian practice of Aloha-breathing love into everything you do. Aloha is the way you relate to yourself, the land and one another with compassion. Learning to Kayr is an act of love that brings us into union with life’s rhythms and our ability to live fully and freely.
