Terms and Conditions for Respectful Yoga Sessions and Massage Conduct 

 

1. Purpose

These Terms and Conditions outline the standards of conduct expected during all Kayr sessions to ensure a safe, professional, and respectful environment for both clients and therapists.​

 

2. Professional Boundaries

Yoga & Massage therapy is a non-sexual, professional health service focused on physical and emotional well-being. Any sexual, suggestive, or inappropriate behaviour, language, or requests toward the therapist are strictly prohibited. The therapist reserves the right to immediately terminate the session if boundaries are violated. Full payment will still be required, and future appointments may be refused.

 

3. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

Arrive on time and communicate any delays or cancellations according to the provider’s policy. Maintain personal hygiene before the session. Provide accurate health information and disclose any injuries, medical conditions, or discomfort during the session. Refrain from the use of drugs or alcohol prior to or during appointments. Communicate clearly about comfort, pressure levels, and positioning throughout the session.

 

4. Therapist Responsibilities

Therapists agree to:

• Conduct themselves with professionalism, respect, and confidentiality at all times.

• Provide services within the scope of their training and certification.

• Respect the client’s privacy, comfort, and dignity during the session.

• End the session immediately if they feel unsafe, disrespected, or that professional boundaries are being compromised.​

 

5. Session Conduct

Draping will be used at all times to protect client privacy; only the area being worked on will be uncovered. Clients may refuse or request modifications to any part of the massage or yoga session at any time. Either party may end the session if they feel uncomfortable for any reason.

 

6. Confidentiality

All personal and health information shared by the client will remain strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g., risk of harm or abuse).

 

7. Payment and Cancellation

• Payment is due online before or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

• Cancellations and rescheduling require at least 2 hours notice. Late cancellations  will not be refunded and will be charged the full amount.

 

8. Consequences of Misconduct

Any behavior deemed inappropriate, disrespectful, or harassing will result in:• Immediate termination of the session.

• Possible reporting to law enforcement if necessary.

• Permanent denial of future services.

 

9. Agreement

By booking or receiving any Kayr services, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions for Respectful Conduct.
